PiSA sales and CTI (Computer Telephony Integration)

If all technical and organizational factors play together, you can accomplish higher customer orientation and an efficient utilization rate of your employees. CTI integration in PiSA sales allows your telephone system to communicate with your IT infrastructure. Essential telephony functions are controlled by PC whereas the contact data stock of PiSA sales is used simultaneously. The caller’s telephone number plays a key role. When a call comes in, the caller is identified with the aid of his telephone number and the PiSA sales contact database is accessed.
When receiving an incoming call the according contact data set is detected and simultaneously displayed in the PiSA sales customer form. That way you are granted the opportunity to concentrate on the customer even before the conversation starts. During the call you can access relevant order, product or service data directly out of the customer form using hyperlinks.
You can start outgoing calls conveniently via mouse click. The telephone number is read out of the contact’s data field, conveyed to the telecommunication system via CTI interface and the outgoing call is finally launched by the internal telephone network.
All incoming and outgoing calls of your employees are logged in a journal, including duration, time and contact information of the caller. In addition every user is able to modify his CTI interface by himself.
Telephony integration in PiSA sales supports the two most commonly used CTI architectures: Third and First-Party telephony. For communication between single components proven CTI software standards, such as TAPI, are used.
